Welcome to Little Chef’s apron! Today we will be making something that I tried for the first time! I wanted to make something using minimal ingredients. It turned out very delicious and it was a little shocking because I thought that the ingredients I am using will cause a huge difference.
My family and I wanted to find something equally delicious and healthy. And as I was experimenting, I went with this recipe. It uses water in place of milk, brown sugar instead of refined white sugar. I am using oil instead of butter and wheat flour instead of maida.
This recipe has very low calories and is almost a guilt free dessert! I have now decided that this is my normal cupcake recipe since it makes no difference in taste at all and is equally yum!
Supporting my mom!
My mom just started an Instagram page about home decor, DIY’s and lifestyle. She would post about what makes her happy and makes her feel content. Do check it out and follow if you would like more of it! Here is the link to the page, “passion and creation”
1 cup wheat flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 cup curd
1/4 cup oil
1 tsp cinnamon powder
Water as needed
1 tsp vanilla essence
1/2 cup brown sugar
First, add curd, brown sugar, vanilla, cinnamon and oil in a bowl and whisk well.
Then add baking powder and soda into this and make sure it’s mixed well. Leave it for a minute until the mixture becomes foamy.
Then, sieve in wheat flour into the wet ingredients and mix well. Add water as needed to make a a little thick batter.
Preheat the oven at 170*C for 10 minutes and add liners into the muffin tray.
Then fill in the batter until 3/4 of the liner. Sprinkle some brown sugar to get a little crispy top but soft layer on the inside. Bake at 170*C for 17-18 minutes.
Let them cool completely. I am garnishing them with a drizzle of white chocolate and chopped almonds for crunch! Enjoy without guilt!
I hope you guys liked this recipe and do let me know in the comments , your ideas and thoughts. I would love to know if you want to see some special recipes or have any doubts.

Question of the day:
What is that one dish that is too unhealthy that you love but want it to be guilt free? Maybe I would come up with a recipe for it!
