Welcome to Little Chef’s Apron apron! Today we’ll kill someone and use their blood !!🤡
Haha! Just kidding… we re gonna do something very creative and delicious! Happy Halloween!!
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk
1 tbsp powdered sugar( optional )
1/2 cup lukewarm water if required
1 cup all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/4 cup oil
1/2 cup chopped dark chocolate compound
Pinch of orange food colour
1 tsp vanilla essence
NOTE: all the ingredients should be at room temperature
. First add condensed milk to a bowl and whisk it with sugar if you’re using, vanilla and oil.
. When it’s all combined, sieve flour, baking powder and soda in another bowl. The trick to get the fluffiest cupcakes is to sieve the flour at least 2 times.
. Add it slowly in batches to the wet ingredients and side by side add water too.
. We need a flowy batter which is another trick to get spongy and light cupcakes. When we make brownies, the batter is very thick which is why they become dense but that’s not what we want here.
. Then, place the cupcake liners in the tray. Here I’m using homemade ones with butter paper. Preheat you oven at 170*C for 10 minutes.
. Then separate the batter into 2 equal halves. Add melted dark chocolate to one and food colour to the other. Mix it thoroughly and add them to the cupcake liners one over the other in random order.
. Bake them at 170*C for 15-17 minutes. It they don’t have a smooth top there is no need to panic as that is exactly what we want here. Because of the dark chocolate there will be a fudgy, brownie top.
. Let them cool down for 40 to 45 minutes and move on with the spooky presentation.
1/2 cup chopped white chocolate.
1 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp water
3-4 drops of red food colour
2 tbsp Nutella
. Melt the white chocolate and pour it on top of each cupcake. Make sure that it’s not too uniformed or else it would loose the Halloween feel.
. Then keep this in the refrigerator till it sets.
. Add Nutella in a piping bag and make spiders out of it on the chocolate.
. Then add water, sugar and colour in a pan and make a little thin sugar syrup. After that pour it on the plate like a splash of blood.
. Make sure to serve it in a white plate to get that bright red colour and serve with a hint of murder!!😀😀🤣
