Welcome to Little Chef’s Apron! Today we’ll make something that all of us love with all our heart, a chocolate dessert. This recipe is a simple yet delicious one with ingredients that are easily available. This dessert will be made in two parts.
The pudding
Ingredients:
2 cups milk
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 cup cocoa powder
1/4 cup corn flour
2 tbsp chopped chocolate
1 tbsp cream (optional)
1 tbsp butter (optional)
Directions:
. First, chop any chocolate of your choice and keep it handy.
. Then, mix all the dry ingredients and make sure there are no lumps in the cocoa powder. Into this mixture, add 2 cups of milk gradually and whisk it till it becomes smooth.
. If the mixture is too thin, there is no need to worry as chocolate pudding gets thick when it’s heated because of the corn flour.
. Now, filter this mixture through a sieve into a non stick pan and stir it till it becomes thick. It should become as thick as a chocolate ganache.

. Now add the chocolate and mix it till it melts. Also add the cream and butter if you’re using it. Adding cream just helps in the setting of the pudding and the butter gives shine to it.

. Transfer it into serving bowls and garnish it with topping of your choice. You can use biscuit crumbs or chocolate chips and shaving of the chopped chocolate or a sprinkle of cocoa. Refrigerate it for about three to four hours and your pudding would be good to go.

The ice cream cake:
Ingredients:
2 cups all purpose flour
2 tbsp butter
1/4 cup cocoa powder
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp melted chocolate
1/4 cup oil
1 cup ice cream
Directions:
. First sieve the dry ingredients together and keep it aside. You can add a pinch of salt based on your taste.

. coming to the wet ingredients, whisk the butter and oil together till it is a little fluffy and when they are combined together. Now add the sugar and give it a good mix.

. Add the melted chocolate and the milk and mix it well. To this add the dry ingredients slowly in batches and fold them into the wet ingredients.

. The most important thing you have to take into consideration is to not over mix the batter as that incorporates air into the batter which flattens the cake as the air escapes while baking.
. Pre heat your oven at 180* for 10 min and brush your pan with oil and flour.

. In the batter, add two to three tbsp of milk as requires to get a smooth consistency. This batter is thick as to mould it to a square shape.

. Bake this at 180* for 17 to 20 minutes and let it cool in the fridge for 1 hour. Cut it into rectangle pieces and apply ice cream between two cake pieces.

.Take out the pudding and the cake and garnish it with some chocolate ganache.
